Bakhtaver Mohammad
Founder & Executive Director

Bakhtaver is the founder of Hijabi Serves, a community-led platform redefining access, representation and belonging in tennis, padel and racket sports.

She leads the organisation’s vision, partnerships, and strategic growth, working across institutions, brands, and communities to build more inclusive pathways into sport.

Bakhtaver brings over eight years of leadership experience across national youth-led humanitarian initiatives, leading programmes, building large-scale networks, and delivering impact at scale across the UK.

With a background in technology, business strategy, and innovation, she has worked across sectors including telecoms and aviation, with experience at leading organisations such as Virgin Media O2 and British Airways. She holds a BSc in IT Management for Business and is currently completing an MSc in Technology Management at University College London (UCL).

She has also participated at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women as a UN Women UK delegate, contributing to global discussions on gender equality and technological change.

Across tech, sport, and social impact, Bakhtaver has consistently been an advocate for inclusion and belonging, with a particular focus on creating spaces where Muslim women feel seen, supported, and able to thrive.
